My husband has this quilt his aunts made. It's a very important heirloom and it's been sitting in a bag for years in the closet. For his birthday I wanted to get it framed. I went to a Not-so-frugal framer and they wanted over $1300, plus they argued with me about how to have it set in the frame and wanted to sew it and cut off the stray threads. Okay, that's nice and all but you are not going to touch my husband's heirloom with a needle, furthermore I came in to have it set with compression - don't tell me what I want when I've already TOLD you what I want. So... back to ol'faithful Amazon I go, whistling a jaunty tune. I searched for a couple of days before I came across this frame. HOLY MOLY IT'S PERFECT! It is exactly the size and shape and even the wood color I wanted to match our bedroom furniture. It's solidly built, has claps, and even a lock and key! It was ❤️ at first click. It showed up so well packaged and you can tell care was put into the build and quality control. It looks so lovely and it just took a screwdriver and 2 minutes to take out the violin mounts. I am so thrilled and I know my husband will be too when he sees it. Thank you for helping me preserve and display this cherished quilt. I can't begin to express my gratitude.
